We blend refined, editorial imagery with candid, documentary-style coverage, adapting our approach to each part of the wedding day. We provide gentle direction when it’s needed and step back when it’s not, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally. Film photography is also an integral part of our work, adding another layer of texture and timelessness to the story.

Over the years, we’ve found that this balance creates the most seamless and enjoyable experience for our couples and their guests, while resulting in photographs and films that feel intentional and elevated, yet honest to the people and emotions within them.

While photography and videography are each complete experiences on their own, many of our couples choose to have us capture their celebration through both. Working together allows us to create a cohesive visual story while bringing two distinct perspectives to the day. Because we know each other’s approach instinctively, we work seamlessly together - from navigating the timeline and changing light to anticipating important moments as they unfold.

The result is a harmonious and comprehensive visual memoir of your celebration, where your photographs and film each stand beautifully on their own while complementing one another to tell a richer, more complete story of the day.

Absolutely. Purity Weddings is a boutique husband-and-wife team, and we, Anna and Vitaly, personally capture every wedding booked with us. Anna takes the lead on photography, while Vitaly leads the videography, and when you book us, you're guaranteed our personal involvement.

The same applies to our second shooters - we work with a small, consistent team of trusted professionals who regularly photograph and film alongside us. They know our approach, understand exactly what we look for throughout a wedding day, and are fully familiar with the visual style and standards that define our work. We believe that being comfortable with one another and having that mutual trust within our team allows us to work seamlessly together and consistently deliver the level of work our couples expect from us.

We make it a point not to double-book ourselves; even if we're hired for just photography or videography on a specific date, we support each other rather than split up for different events. Our passion for our craft drives us, and we're committed to providing a service that's as personal as possible.

Our full-day packages start at $8,000 for Southern California weddings. Most of our couples choose to have their celebration documented through both photography and videography, with an average investment of $12,000-$15,000 for a package that perfectly fits their vision for their wedding memories.

Typically, we deliver over 600 carefully retouched photographs and a stunning 9-15 minute wedding film from an 8-hour wedding day. However, please keep in mind that these numbers may vary based on the specifics of your wedding day.

We believe that when you trust us to document your wedding, your photographs should truly be yours to enjoy. Every package comes complete with a beautiful online gallery of high-resolution, print-ready photographs and a personal print release, giving you the freedom to create unlimited prints through any lab of your choice, now and for years to come, with no additional fees or restrictions.

All packages also include second shooters, while our photography+videography collections include a complimentary engagement session.

We believe a seamless wedding-day experience starts long before the celebration itself. Throughout the planning process, we’ll share helpful guides and recommendations, and if we’re new to your venue, we may schedule a walkthrough to become familiar with the space, light, and surroundings. Our engagement session also gives us a chance to work together before the wedding and helps you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, providing beautiful photos for your save-the-dates or social media. About a month before the celebration, we’ll meet over Zoom to walk through the timeline, priorities, and all the details that matter to you.

Knowing when to step in is just as important as knowing when to step back. On your wedding day, we’ll provide gentle direction whenever it’s helpful - from styling details and creating portraits to finding beautiful light - while giving genuine moments the space to unfold naturally. We work closely with your planner and vendor team throughout the day, allowing you to stay present while we focus on preserving both the intentional details and the spontaneous moments in between.

Our couples care deeply about how their wedding feels just as much as how it looks. They appreciate beautiful design and thoughtful details, but they also want to be fully present with the people they love rather than spend their entire wedding day posing for the camera.

Most importantly, they trust us creatively, value the experience as much as the final result, and want a team they genuinely feel comfortable having by their side throughout the day.

That’s exactly what we’re here for! We’ll guide you throughout the process, offer flattering direction, and use natural prompts that allow you to feel like yourselves in both photographs and video. An engagement session is included in most of our collections, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other, discover what poses and interactions feel most natural to you, and help you become comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. By the time your wedding arrives, being photographed and filmed already feels familiar, making it much easier to relax, be present, and enjoy the experience.

In the rare case of an unexpected medical emergency or other situations beyond our control preventing us from covering your event, we'll do our best to arrange for a replacement photographer or videographer from our circle who meets our standards or will refund all fees you've paid.

If you ever need to change your event date, we're flexible. We can transfer your retainer to the new date, as long as we are available.

If your event has been cancelled, unfortunately, we can't refund the retainer, but there will be no further payments required.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE FOR SHOOTING?

Over the years, we’ve worked with several camera systems before ultimately choosing Sony for its exceptional quality, reliability, and color science. We work with a professional Sony mirrorless system and a carefully selected range of lenses, though much of the photography and cinematography you see throughout our portfolio is created with a 50mm prime - a focal length we especially love for its natural, timeless perspective.

Alongside our digital setup, we photograph on Canon film cameras, bringing the distinct character of analog photography into the visual story of each wedding.

Beyond our cameras, we work with professional lighting and audio equipment to ensure the same level of quality throughout every part of the wedding day.

Our team is also FAA-certified for drone operations, allowing us to capture breathtaking aerial views that elevate the storytelling and offer an entirely different perspective on your celebration.

HOW DO YOU ADAPT TO DIFFERENT LIGHTING CONDITIONS, SUCH AS DAYLIGHT AND LOW LIGHT?

Southern California, and Los Angeles especially, offers an incredible variety of beautiful locations, each with its own lighting and weather conditions. Throughout our career, we’ve photographed and filmed in just about every scenario imaginable, so we know how to position and guide you in a way that makes the most of the available light. We know how to beautifully capture an incredible ceremony setting even in particularly challenging lighting, and how to light a reception while preserving its natural ambiance and atmosphere. Rest assured, you’ll be in good hands with us.

DO YOU OFFER DESTINATION WEDDING SERVICES?

Absolutely! Our main focus is on Southern California, however, we have had the pleasure of capturing beautiful moments in Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and Miami. We are always excited about the opportunity to be a part of destination weddings!

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?

We do not charge travel fees for weddings throughout Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Additionally, our destination wedding packages include all travel expenses, ensuring you have one less thing to worry about.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL, UNEDITED RAW FILES?

We do not offer original, unedited RAW photographs, but RAW video footage is available as an a la carte option. With this option, you’ll receive all original, unedited 4K footage captured throughout your wedding day via a private online link, available for download for one year.
